| GP9 9108 was part of an order
approved on November 19, 1954 for the purchase of 70
GP9's(9048-9117). 9108 was completed in March 1955, and
assigned to the Chicago Terminal. 9108 came out the
Paducah Shops' rebuilding program as IC GP10 8108 in the orange and
white scheme. It was damaged in a derailment at Vicksburg,
Mississippi on August 20th,1978 and repainted into the solid orange. Eventually it became MSRC 8108,
later 1013. Transferred to the KCS in June of 1993. Notes: Date in Solid Orange: ?? - ?? |
