| GP9 9186 was part of an order for 70
GP9's(9118-9187). 9186 arrived on the IC in January, 1956 being
assigned to the Kentucky
Division. It was reassigned to the Chicago Diesel Pool in 1957. 9186 came out the
Paducah Shops' rebuilding program as IC GP10 8186 in 1974. Four
years later it was damaged in a collision at Shively, Kentucky on October
5th, 1978. It
would receive IC black and white before being
sold to the Boise Locomotive on March 17th, 1998. They
remanufactured it into a MP2000D on April 1st, 1998 and renumbered
